Blast Off

Since the launch of my new little business I have enjoyed hours of taking photos, studying them, enhancing them and then revealing them. What a blessing truly to hear joyful tones and words of thanks; just for capturing a smile or a bond. I feel like an “artist” for the first time in my life. Something of this is connecting in my soul. My heart palpitates when I begin to see textures in backgrounds even without a camera strapped around my neck. Colors are reaching out to me as I drive along familiar roads and they scream…”here here….we are everywhere!”. I’m blessed.

Here are some photos that just make me smile…they may not be the best or even be favorites…but for some reason they speak to me.

This was a fun day of experimenting with my new fabulous camera, using playful neighborhood kiddos as my sweet little g.piggies. I have to admit…I love the b&w of curly haired S. enough to hang her up in my hallway..though she isn’t mine.
